Designer Brief Take:
My chosen client is my volleyball coach. His name is lee, not only he is a coach but he is also a personal trainer at bodyworks, specializing in balance, agility, speed and power training towards different sports, rehabilitation from cardiac to muscle and bone deficiencies and core conditioning. Lee is a very good coach and has inspired me to not only work hard and long towards my goal but to still stay educated and to not waste the knowledge I have, throughout my discussions with Lee I have felt the need to give back to him, to thank him for being a positive input in my life so far. This is a great opportunity to really show of my knowledge in Design and Computing.
My goal from this assignment is to really go that extra mile in designing a certain thing e.g. leaflet, booklet, or poster. And to finish with a project that I will gain 21 credits of but also with a finished project were it is useful for Lee and he can continue to use my designs in a positive way.
Overall with this great opportunity to experience a real life client and to complete this project for Lees needs; this is why I have chosen Lee as my client.
Specifications
Must include background:
Personal trainer, Wellington eagles, Muay Thai, Coach and other interest.
A photo of Lee, just have of his body or a full body shot.
Three different designs:
A Booklet (What he will do in his trainings)
Business Card (For him to hand out to increase the number of patients)
A poster ( to be posted up on the Bodyworks notice board )

All about Jordan
Designer Brief Take:
Jordan is a year 13 student at Tawa College. Throughout interviews with Jordan I have been inspired from his unique art work and how traditional they are to make sure the profile is connected with his audience and that the profile represents him as an artist. As for his designer profile I will gain strong quotes that he himself has said which he wants his audience to know and the genre/style he wants to show will include in this profile and the legacy he wants to leave as an artist for others to follow.
Specification List:
Jordan is a traditional person so something has to be shown on the profile for that.
E.g. Samoan flag
Specific colours are to be used like bright colours that all contrast together.
A photo of Jordan included in anyway or even a outline of his face and body.

27th February 2009
